Monthly Newsletter - SETHSA's monthly newsletter, The Teaching Pioneer, includes helpful, home-school related articles written by home schoolers, information on what's happening in the Houston area, ideas from support groups and individuals, notices of special events, and sale notices of used curriculum. The Teaching Pioneer is available to support groups for a small, annual subscription fee. The support groups are encouraged to copy and include The Teaching Pioneer along with their own newsletter distribution. The membership of subscribing support groups are entitled to all of the services SETHSA provides. For those instances where a support group does not subscribe to The Teaching Pioneer, individual subscriptions are accepted for a small, annual fee.

An Individual $14.00 'Individual' subscribers, must complete & mail our Subscriber information form.
A Support Group $28.00 'Support Group' subscribers, must complete & mail our Group information form; so, we have all required publication information about the group.
